Brown faces stiff competition for the job of starting quarterback Will Howard, the Kansas State transfer quarterback who joined the Ohio State program in the fall of 2016, may make Brown wait an additional year to become the starter. Brown has made it clear that he will remain at Ohio State, and he’s willing to compete with other quarterbacks for the job of starting quarterback.
