The United Nations has called on Pakistan to delay deporting over 1.4 million Afghans by November 1. In a press statement, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said that it was “extremely alarmed” at Pakistan’s announcement of deportation. There are currently more than two million Afghans who live in Pakistan without documentation.

Kirk Cousins, quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings, is suspected to have ruptured his Achilles during the team’s victory over the Green Bay Packers. Kevin O’Connell, the head coach of Minnesota, made this announcement in his post-game remarks. It soured Minnesota’s feelings about a third consecutive win. Many reports claim that Cousins has indeed torn his Achilles. However, an MRI is needed to confirm the Vikings’ belief.
